List a vacancy on Qeja

This guide is for landlords and agents who want to publish vacant units on Qeja and receive leads — without necessarily running full day-to-day ops in Fayvad Property.

Create a lister account

Go to List on Qeja / signup (/accounts/signup/). At signup you choose:

• List on Qeja (listing_only) — default path for publishing vacancies and receiving leads
• Full Rentals / managed — tenants, leases, rent, and day-to-day ops in addition to listing

If you already have a seeker account, you can switch toward listing via the account “list a vacancy” face; that path creates a listing-only landlord profile (you can upgrade to managed afterward).

Onboarding: first place and unit

After signup, listing-only users without inventory are guided to onboard (/accounts/onboard/):

1. Add a place (location) — name, city, neighbourhood, and optional map coordinates
2. Add a unit — unit number, bedrooms, bathrooms, asking rent, and related fields
3. Open the unit, add photos, complete details, then publish to Qeja when the unit is vacant

Publishing is tied to unit status: the unit must be available and explicitly listed to appear on public Qeja search. Coordinates help the unit show on the map; without them it can still appear in the list.

What listing-only can access

• Qeja browse (same public inventory view)
• Locations (places) and units under Properties
• Leads inbox for enquiries on your listed units
• Billing / listing plans (when your organisation uses plans)
• Account profile and face switching where applicable

What listing-only cannot access

The product blocks listing-only accounts from full ops areas, including tenants, payments, leases (/rentals/), maintenance, documents, reports, and the landlord dashboard. The in-product message is intentional: those tools are part of full Fayvad Property, not the vacancy-listing face.

To unlock them, use upgrade to managed (/accounts/upgrade/managed/).

Leads and viewings

When a seeker enquires on your unit, the lead appears in your Qeja inbox. You can update status (for example new, replied, closed) and follow up by phone or WhatsApp using the contact details they provided. Scheduling a viewing inside the product is available when the enquiry is linked to a seeker account; for guest leads, continue the conversation on phone or WhatsApp.

Listing plans and publish limits

Fayvad Property can enforce listing limits through billing plans (BILLING_ENFORCE_LISTINGS). When that enforcement is off, publishing is not blocked by plan caps. When it is on, you may need an active plan or credits appropriate to your organisation — check Plans in the app or ask us at property@fayvad.com.

Honesty rules that protect your brand

• Only list units that are actually vacant and available to let
• Keep asking rent and photos current
• Unlist promptly when a tenant moves in or you take the unit off the market

Qeja’s value is the link to real inventory. Stale listings undermine seekers and your own leads.
